Valdesia’s Coffee exported to Japan

Valdesia’s Coffee started its penetration to Japan this year thanks to the strategic alliance agreement signed between the Regulatory Council and the company Caribukai Traders, in order to promote the actions of promotion and commercialization of this aromatic Dominican product in the Japanese market.

Meeting with coffee farmers from Valdesia

The Regulatory Board of Valdesia’s Coffee and the Dominican Coffee Council held a meeting with farmers from Valdesia’s region, corresponding to the provinces of San Cristóbal, Peravia and Ocoa, with the purpose of promoting certification under this regional seal of differentiated quality. The meeting was held at the headquarters of the Regional Directorate of Public Health located in Baní.

Meeting with coffee farmers from Los Cacaos

The Regulatory Council of Valdesia’s Coffee and the Dominican Coffee Council held a meeting with farmers of the municipality of Los Cacaos in San Cristobal, in order to promote certification under the seal of Valdesia of coffee producers farms, partners of La Esperanza Coffee Growers Association, Inc. (ASOCAES). The meeting was held at the headquarters of ASOCAES.

La Esperanza Coffee Growers Association, Inc., is one of the founding organizations of the first Protectac Designation of Origin (PDO) of the Dominican Republic, that is represented on the Board of the Regulatory Council of Valdesia’s Coffee by Mr. Atalio Herrera (Carlitos), who was present in the activity.

The Regulatory Council of Valdesia’s Coffee and the Dominican Coffee Council held a meeting with coffee farmers from de municipalities of Rancho Arriba and Sabana Larga in San José de Ocoa, with the purpose of promoting certification under the seal of Valdesia of the farms of coffee producers partners of Ocoa Coffee Growers Association, Inc.
